About the Artist

George "Rick" Vierkandt is a self taught photographer. He is based out of beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. A love of nature and the camera’s ability to freeze a moment in time to be enjoyed forever give Rick the tools he needs to capture breathtaking scenes and wildlife at its finest. Each photo reflects a patience of waiting and watching for the perfect second when nature performs its majesty. His photography gives the viewer the sense of being at the exact place in time when the shutter snaps and the world stops.
